R4/3 - I NEED A DRINK (BEST OF DAY)

• He was huge when he won his maiden last start at Murray Bridge by almost 7L, and was let down in the last few stages of the race. This is a step up in grade, but the way he smashed them in that maiden suggests he could be really talented going forwards. TRUMPSTA is that main danger, and both of them together in a SRM is a good bet.

R7/7 - PRINCESS RAFFLES (EW/VALUE)

• Ran really well when resuming in a much together race than what he finds here today. He was 3rd in a strong level 3yo race beating home the likes of KARACASU, TOTALLY DISCREET and KNIGHTSTOWN who are strong city grade competitors. He is drawn wide but will go back anyway so the barrier won’t bother him.

R8/1 - JACKS ON ICE

• Is only lightly raced, but has a good overall record early in his career and He maps to get a soft run on speed from barrier 1. This is an easier race than what he contested last start at metro level so expecting he will stack up in this grade. The only other time He has ran here at Balaklava, he was 2nd behind MAX FIRE who has been competitive at Listed level multiple times

R2/3 - WISAKA (BEST)

• He is a super consistent type who has competed well both here at the track and over this trip previously. He has a few positives here today including wet conditions and is drawn in barrier 3 m, which should see him get a soft run on speed and should control

  the race tempo.

R7/1- RESURGE (EW/VALUE)

• His South Australian form was really strong last prep including winning The Strathalbyn Cup. He resumed ok here at Sandown but faded late, he will come off a heavy service onto soft ground where he looks much better suited. Feel like he rates quiet highly in this field and If he finds his best he will be competitive at a big price.
