R4/13 - LOOKS LIKE A LADY (VALUE OF DAY)

• Resuming runner and this looks an easier race than any of the 3 she contested in her debut prep. Contested a pair of good level 2yo races at metro level and only 3.5L off a pair of handy ones. Gets an apprentice claim and will now carry the complete bottom weight which should help late.

R5/1 - TRUMPSTA

• Just keener to play TRUMPSTA at a bit better value than what the fave represents in this. TRUMPSTA drops in grade from his most recent runs and is back to provincial level. He was 2nd last start behind a horse who has come out again and won at Morphettville last Saturday. He can go on a wet track and over this trip. If he can find his best, it’s good enough to win this

R7/6 - LAMOREE (BEST OF DAY)

• Drops sharply in grade from her 2 most recent runs, he results this prep,don’t tell the full story of how well she has been running. Was only 3.8L behind Calla Dream and Keep Reading in her last start 5th. Those runs on the Morphettville Parks track didn’t really suit her pattern, so she gets a much better chance here at Balaklava.

• Undefeated here at the track and on a heavy track which he should find here today. This is easier than the race he resumed in and finished 2nd in. Drawn inside , so expecting him to get a good run and be hard to beat.

R8/4 - SANTERO (VALUE OF DAY)

• Last start winner here who’s overall record on the track is impressive (6:2-1-3). She can go well on a heavy track and over this 1800m trip. She will want some pace in this so she can chase and run over the top late. If she does t get to far back again expect her to be finishing off hard and we are still getting a EW price $6.50/$2.40
