R2/1 - EXILED LOVE

Ran a big race on debut here a fortnight ago when met with some good market support. He jumped well and settled a little bit back in the field. Once he was clear in the straight he has produced some of the fastest closing sectionals of the day to finish 4th, but only less than 1L behind the winner. He rises in trip to the 1300m which the extra trip looks really suitable. Expecting he can naturally improve having had the debut run now and booking of Todd Pannell looks a good sign.

R5/3 - SEVEN SECRETS

Found them a bit sharp last start when he was stepping up in grade and took on a pretty strong BM70 field at Morphettville. He was put under a fair bit of early pressure early in the Morphettville run before fading in the last 200m. I like him back to the 1050m trip here on a track that will likely favour runners who are on speed. He was a winner 2 starts back at Gawler and that form beating WALLY WEST & QUEEN IN THE NORTH has been franked since that day.

R7/1 - STORM HUNTER (BEST OF DAY)

He is close to a win having run 3rd in 4 of his last 5 starts (saddle slipped on the only other start). This looks a winnable race for him now in a Class 2 in probably an easier level race than what he has seen in his past few. He has a consistent overall record (9:2-1-4) so expect to see him run a good race in this grade. Jessica Eaton sticks and from barrier 10 he should still find a good position as there isn’t a lot of speed drawn below him.
