Has run 2nd in 2 runs this prep, both of those she has shown good talent. Up to the 1400m here today, looks an ideal set up. The stable thought enough of her as a 2YO to put her into a Listed level race. She looks a talented type who is just ready to win.

R5/4- FIRST DIVISION (EW/VALUE OF DAY)

This is a pretty open race but keen to be with FIRST DIVISION who resumes here today. She generally runs her best when she is fresh (4:2-0-0) and she also has a strong record here at Bendigo (3:2-1-0). She gets a lot in her favour here today that is going to give her a good opportunity to put in a strong 1st up effort, and at the price, we are getting the each way price.

R6/7- STORMBOLT

Ran a good race 1st up at Caulfield running 2nd after leading all the way and only getting nabbed late on the line. Back in trip here today to the 1100m will suit, as well as the fact he is 2nd up here today where he is undefeated at this stage of a prep (2:2-0-0). He maps to lead up again with a lack of early speed in this race he should get a soft run early. The clear danger in the race is RICH FORTUNE, but feel STORMBOLT has an advantage given he has the 1st up run under his belt and the extra fitness.

R7/7- INTERPRETATION

The tip for today’s feature race The Bendigo Cup. He has a lot to race for here INTERPRETATION, with this being a chance for him to book himself a place in The Melbourne Cup. The Good track conditions expected should play into his favour, and he should get a much better run from barrier 5 than he did from the wide barrier last start in The Bart Cummings.
