R2/8- SIR KINGSFORD (BEST OF DAY)
Taking a big drop in grade today and finds a much easier race than his last few runs. He contested the Pt Adelaide Guineas at Listed level 2 starts back where he was 5th only 4.2L off the eventual Group 1 Oaks winner, he then followed that up with a Group 3 run but he found them a bit too sharp that day. This Bordertown maiden now is a much easier level. While he has drawn an ugly wide barrier, there doesn’t look a lot of early speed under him so expecting he can cross and find a good position.
R5/1 - TERRITORY TITAN
2nd up into the prep today. Rates highly at this BM66 level, but does have to handle a heavy weight due to that. Like his chances to improve here today given he is 2nd up and on his home track. He gets suitable track conditions today and looks every chance for improvement.
R6/3 - CANIDAE
A track specialist. He has a super record here at this track (10:4-0-3). He is a tough veteran runner who is 2nd up now today and does boast a 2nd up win on his record. He is consistent and will likely be every chance again.
