Ran 2nd when resuming at Sandown recently. It was a brave effort making up good ground late on a day where it was tough so to do so. 2nd up now and up to the 1400m looks ideal for him now. He maps for a good run just off the speed in a good part of the track and this looks a good set up for him today.

R9/5- MY KHALIFA (EW/VALUE OF DAY)

Respecting the SA runner who comes across here today. He hasnt showed too much in his first 2 runs this prep, but it usually takes him a couple runs to find his best in a prep and he gets to this 3rd up now. He also comes up to the 1400m which suits. From barrier 4 he should get a good run and be in a good position as they come around the turn. Also respecting the #9 runner DUBAI POET who maps really well and we can have a 2 bet play in this race with both runners representing good value.
