Resuming runner here today. She had a super last prep when winning 3 in a row before she was Listed level placed over a trip. She finished last prep with runs at a much stronger level than this today and the trials leading into this have been really solid. Expect she can fire fresh and 1st up and has won 1st up previously.

R3/9- CLIMBING STAR (BEST OF DAY)

A resuming runner who, in her last prep was competitive in stronger races at Group and Handicap level. She looks really well placed here in a BM78, she has class and is Group 2 placed. Her trials have been super leading into this resuming run, and she has won 1st up previously in her career.

R6/3- IT’SOURTIME

IT’SOURTIME was an impressive winner in his last start at Flemington. While he has recently run his best at Flemington, he has a consistent record here at Caulfield (7:0-3-3). He has drawn a good barrier and looks to have options from there, Michael Dee in the saddle also appears to be a positive. These 2 have teamed up twice previously winning on both occasions.
