R3/2- AUTUMN ANGEL

AUTUMN ANGEL resumes today. She has a good record when 1st up which in encouraging for this. She is drawn well and wont mind the expected conditions. AUTUMN ANGEL & SERASANA look like the stand out class horses of this race but thinking AUTUMN ANGEL is better suited 1st up and in these conditions.

R4/1- BRAVE MEAD (BEST OF DAY)

BRAVE MEAD was an impressive winner when resuming here a few weeks back. He worked up on the speed and can certainly do that again today. He has drawn a wide barrier but from the 1200m start at Caulfield it isn’t a huge concern. His residual fitness from his spring campaign may have been what helped him win 1st up and there is no reason he can’t improve off that run now.

R9/1- KALLOS (EW/VALUE OF DAY)

One of the feature races of the day. This race maps to have a stack of speed in it and some of those runners with early speed are drawn out wide which might make it a sticky race map. Some of the runners who can sit off that speed may get the advantage. One in particular I’m keeping an eye on is KALLOS who won impressively 1st up and has been able to improve 2nd up previously in preps. If she gets a clear run at them she may be hard to hold out again. Can also consider a 2 bet play with the runner BENEDETTA who gets a good race map here.
