R3/3 - DESIAH

Comes into this off the back of a short spell. She has previously shown in her preps that she is best when 1st up into the prep and has a super record 3:2-1-0 1st up and over this trip. If we get to a heavy track due to rain she has proven she can win on rain affected ground and the 2kg off the back from the claiming apprentice is another positive.

R4/15 - WILD IMAGINATION (BEST OF DAY)

A South Aus visitor who looks really well placed here to be able to produce her best efforts. 3rd up and rising to the 1600m are both big positives for her here. But she also gets a good race map here to find a soft run up on the speed from barrier 1 as there does look to be a lack of others with early speed. Her best form has come on dry track which is the risk, but the Jolly stable have a very good record of bringing their horses across the border and they wouldn’t be sending her without a very good chance.

R9/15- OUTBACK ACTION

OUTBACK ACTION maps to be the likely leader in this race and likely will get that leading position with out having to work too hard given he jumps from barrier 5. He has the services of Carleen Hefel who has been in super form but that also takes 2kgs off his back and he will only carry 52.5kgs in this so it may take a big effort to catch him.
