REMEDIES was a super impressive winner when on debut, she showed great early speed in that run and feel that will be her advantage here again today. CYLINDER is the stable mate and has had good early market support after running 2nd on debut in a sharp level race in NSW, currently the fave and will be competitive. LITTLE BROSE comes out of a strong race on debut where he was 2nd. Looks over the odds based on that debut performance and looks a good EW play.

GOOD IDEA is proven over this trip having won the Adelaide Cup this year and maps for a soft on speed run from barrier 2. He should get run of the race and will take catching. TEAM CAPTAIN looks a type who is screaming out to get over this 3200m trip. He looks like he will really appreciate the trip and was on a Melbourne Cup path earlier this year which may prove the talent that the stable believe he has. SAN HUBERTO debuts for a new stable here today, the stable have a super record with stayers so it may be what he needs to help improve, he has early market support which is a good indicator.

Playing BRUCKNER here based on the talent he has showed so far in his career. But he is a small risk having had such a long time off. He is Group 1 placed, can generally run well when resuming and has recently trialled well so willing to risk him here off the spell. STREETCAR STRANGER has a great record here at Caulfield (4:2-1-0) and is 2nd up today, he usually takes a run or two into a prep to start to peak but looks well placed here. DARING MOVE makes the trip across from SA as well, the stable generally don’t send them across unless they are a big chance. She is clearly talented and is light at the weights as well as maps perfectly to get a soft on speed run from barrier 1. A win from her wouldn’t surprise at big odds.

9- GET UP GIRL
GREY RIVER is having a super prep having won 2 races easily in SA and then running 2nd at Listed level at Flemington last start. The stable have a big opinion on how talented she may be. She has good early speed and a smart jockey on top, think that will help her navigate the wider barrier and find a nice position. NAICONI has won 2 in a row and is looking for 3 straight now. This is a step up in grade but she is in super winning form and should run well. GET UP GIRL was placed last start in a sharp race at Flemington at big odds. She has a wide barrier to deal with here but if she gets the right run she will be competitive.

8- NORWEGIAN BLISS
STREETS OF AVALON drops in grade after competing at Group 1 level last start. Majority of his career wins have come over this trip and he is much better suited to a good track so he looks well placed. Drawn in barrier 1, he should get a soft on speed run and will take catching. LITERARY MAGNATE resumed a winner here at Caulfield at Group 3 level this prep. She is a get back runner and maps nicely here as there is an expected fast tempo in the race and it may set her up nicely. NORWEGIAN BLISS is undefeated from 7 career starts so far. Hard to knock her form and she has a super race map, if she can handle the Victorian direction of running, she will be a big chance.

7- MONTIGN
GRANDSLAM gets onto a good rated track here today and that perfectly suits him as he isn’t very effective on rain effected ground. He is 2nd up here today and rising to the 1800m which is going to suit him. He maps for a soft run and is really well placed. KEATS is another who maps well to be up on speed and in control of the race tempo. He is light at the weights and is running in super form of late. MONTIGN is making the trip across from SA and has been in super form. He has a super winning strike rate and low at the weights, he will be finishing this off really strongly, any rain around will help his chances.

1- VOW AND DECLARE
8- DESERT ICON
LUNCIES deserves a win after the recent form he has been in this prep. He runs with great heart gives huge effort. He is finally drawn in a good barrier and with an in form jockey on top, he gets every chance to find the breakthrough win here today. VOW AND DECLARE is coming off a top 10 finish in the Melbourne Cup. His form leading into that run has been super and he is a proven talented stayer. If he has come back since The Cup in good shape he will be around the mark. DESERT ICON has a great record here at Caulfield. Feel he can be forgiven for the last start run where he didn’t appreciate the heavy track, finds better ground here today and is much better suited.

12- HOLYMANZ
SEE YOU IN HEAVEN is a super talented young filly that her stable have a good opinion of. She found horror luck in the last start at Flemington and with clear running space she probably wins that last start. The way she was running that day, feel she is really going to appreciate the 1600m here today. While she does have a bad barrier to deal with. Feel she won’t have a problem coming from the back of the field. THE FORTUNE TELLER was 1.3L away from the winners at Group 1 level 2 starts back. He looks capable of winning at this level but also has to manage a wide barrier. HOLYMANZ maps to get a soft run on the speed, this is a step up in grade but coming from a smart stable you would suggest they think he is capable at this level.
Race 9
5- MAC N CHEESE

7- TOREGENE
MAC N CHEESE gets up to the 1600m here today which should be a suitable trip for her now 3rd up. Last time we saw her at this trip she was a winner at listed level. She is suited here over the mile and has a solid 3rd up record, she can run a big race here at EW value. ROOTS is in super form of late having won 3 of 4 this prep and the only miss was a 2nd placing. Would prefer her to be running here on wetter ground but winning form is hard to knock. TOREGENE is stepping up in grade here today but has been in strong recent form of late as well. She has drawn a wide barrier which is a negative but she has good early speed which may help her get across.
