R1/4 - MOJAVE DESERT

Potentially one of the best maiden horses going around, he drops in grade here today from running behind GRIFF twice in a row at Listed level and Group 2 level. MOJAVE DESERT hasn’t been far away in either of those runs and now that GRIFF form line is really stacking up after GRIFF won The Group 1 Caulfield Guineas. If MOJAVE DESERT can keep his form up out of those races, he should be well placed at benchmark grade.

R5/7 - SHOCK EM OVA (BEST OF DAY)

3rd up here today and up to the 2000m trip now. He was a last start winner here at Caulfield when hitting the line strongly so he looks more than ready for this trip now. He will likely be back in the running, but there maps to be a good tempo in this race which can set him up to run over the top of them late.

R8/13 - DASHING (EW/VALUE OF DAY)

DASHING was good when resuming recently running 2nd behind RHEINBERG at Sandown. He is a very consistent type and his form from last prep is in stronger races than this. Linda Meech to ride here today so expecting to see DASHING push forwards and be prominent in running. He rarely puts in a bad run so if he is in a good position in running and gets an even run late, I would expect he can at least hold on to a placing.
