R2/8- GOLDEN CRUSADER

• GOLDEN CRUSADER is 3rd up here today, he has a good record when he is 3rd up in a prep (3:2-0-0). He is stepping up in grade today from his last run, but he maps to get a lot of favours out in front and with a light weight he is every chance to run away with this race.

R10/1- JUNGLE JIM (BEST OF DAY)

• JUNGLE JIM was brave last start at Moonee Valley when he dropped in grade. He had pressure out in front and was only run over late by swoopers after dong the extra work. He stays in a similar grade here which suits but i feel he will get a better run down the straight. He has won down the straight previously and he maps to control this race today.
