• DAGGERS will drop in grade here today into an easier level race than what he has seen so far into his prep. He was competitive in his last start at Morphettville when running 6th in the Group 2 Tobin Bronze behind an eventual Group 1 winner. The race was run at a slow tempo but he did still manage to produce some of the quickest closing sectionals of the meeting so the rise up to the 1400m trip here looks ideal at this point of his prep.
