R4/5- TRIPLE MISSILE

Coming into this 2nd up today after a solid run 1st up when up in grade contesting the Group 2 Gilgai Stakes. He was 2nd to STAR PATROL and that is proving to be a strong form line especially at this level. TRIPLE MISSILE goes well down the straight and has a good record 2nd up (5:2-2-0) so expecting if he improves off the first up run, he will be hard to beat today.

R6/1- SHINZO (VALUE OF DAY)

2rd up here today coming out of an Everest run 2nd up. The Everest has previously proven to be a strong form line to bring into The Coolmore and SHINZO ticks that box. He moves like a horse that likes to have a lot of room and he will definitely get that here today down the straight. His peak performances last prep came 3rd & 4th up, looks set to peak here today.

R9/5- TAMERLANE (BEST OF DAY)

Ran a super race here last time at Flemington. He took the lead early and controlled the tempo of the race, before producing a very strong finish. It was an impressive ride from Damien Lane who doesn’t ride today but you loose nothing with James McDonald taking the ride. He is drawn in barrier 1 so gets every chance to get to the front and control the race again and the figure he produced last start would be good enough here.
