R1/4- ACID WASH (BEST OF THE DAY)

Ran a big race on debut when running 2nd at Sandown when on debut. He didn’t get the cleanest of runs and did find some trouble which didn’t help him. But today he has a lot of space down the straight to work with especially given he is drawn out wide. If he can produce a run like he did on debut and gets even luck, you would imagine he will be hard to hold out today.

R3/3- SANS DOUTE

This looks an open race with the top 3 runners in the market all looking a good chance. But SANS DOUTE looks a very talented runner who had good success in New Zealand but hasn’t quite found her best here in Australia yet. Feel like getting onto a big and open track like Flemington will suit her, she has had a good jump out to stay fit and is drawn in the right part of the track. She looks suited here.

R5/12- LEDECKY’S DREAM (VALUE OF DAY)

Comes into this race 3rd up today, she did improve 2nd up when placing at Sale, but her form last prep was in stronger races than this which suggests, now she is fitter she looks a chance in a race like this. She has early speed and barrier 4, so expect she will be able to get into the right part of the track and if she gets a good run out in front, she looks a good chance to surprise.
