R3/1 - SMILING ASSASSIN

Has been in solid form, but it’s the run 3 back in another one of these Jericho heats in Mt Gambier that’ catches the eye. He was 2nd carrying the same heavy weight but on a Heavy 10. Like the fact he is proven at this trip with a heavy weight and the improved conditions here today give him a better chance.

R4/3 - KUNGKA MARU

This looks a quite open race, but KUNGKA MARU has a good record here at the track (4:1-2-0) which can help and it is a bit horses for courses. Drawn well, will race on speed and has a light weight after a claim. Will be there at the finish.

R7/4 - MONTIGN (BEST OF DAY)

Was in super winning form earlier this prep before stepping up in grade in his last couple. The last start 4th in The Murray Bridge Cup was super. That was a sharp field at listed level. That is strong form for this level race now. Gets his chance at Gawler to run over them late.
