• A lightly raced runner who ran a good race last time he turned out when running 3rd at Moonee Valley. He returns to SA now and finds what looks a winnable race for him. There doesn’t look like there will be a lot of tempo in this race so if he can jump away clean he winn land in a handy position around midfield and looks a runner with good talent.

R6/2- SHOOTING FOR STARS

• SHOOTING FOR STARS is 2nd up today and up to the 1200m. She was a winner when she had the same set up as this earlier in the year in her last prep. Her 3 career wins have all come over the 1200m trip so she is looking well suited here today. She may go back from barrier 10 which may mean she needs some luck coming into the straight. But with clear running space and even luck, she will be hitting the line strongly.

R8/1- CELSIUS STAR

• CELSIUS STAR drops in grade for this race today after he ran 4th last start in The Gytrash Series Final behind Validated. That was a strong race and CELSIUS STAR should find this easier. He has a good map and will likely settle forwards probably behind SECRET WAR who will be the leader. Sheridan Clarke takes 3kgs off his back with the claim and he looks a strong EW play.
