R3/1- APACHE STAR (VALUE OF DAY)

APACHE STAR was a winner over this same track/distance 2 starts back. The last start effort he had some excuses and in this race he gets a very nice race map from barrier 2. Getting the same price for the place as you would backing the fave and APACHE STAR maps to be out in front in a good position through the run.

R5/1- JACKS ON ICE

Has a good record at this track/distance (3:2-1-0) and comes into this race 3rd up now. It’s an open race but he comes off a good effort in a good form race last start. He goes well here and from barrier 7 should find a good position sat just outside the leader.

R7/2- ZEBELLA

She has run 2nd in both runs this prep, but she potentially had be best opportunity for a win here today. She is 3rd up and fitter now so up the 1200m shouldn’t be a concern and Rochelle Milnes will take 3kgs off her back. If she can find a good spot from barrier 7 without too much trouble, she should be fighting out the finish.
