R3/8- WINE BARON

Made an impressive debut for his new stable when he resumed last start at Strathalbyn. He jumped from the widest barrier and endured a tough run without cover, but still managed to fight on for 3rd. Maps for a softer run and now up in trip and 2nd up, he will be around the mark.

R5/4- LORD GEORGE (BEST OF DAY)

Stuck on well when running around at big odds last start at Listed level on Adelaide Cup day. He was only 5L behind the winners in that and now comes back to BM58 grade, so he should find this a lot easier. Only lightly raced and has produced his 2 best runs to date on this track.

R7/1- PEACEMAKER (VALUE OF DAY)

A very open race, but PEACEMAKER has run 2 very good runs this prep and is in super form. Resumed with a good win at Strathalbyn before stepping right up in grade when contesting a city level race at Morphettville where he was 3rd. This is a much more suitable race and the only other time he has ever ran 3rd up, he produced a win.
