R5/1- MEG’S MAGIC

• MEG’S MAGIC drops in grade today after a solid performance last start when competing in a metro grade race. There is a small question mark on where she lands from a widish barrier. But if she can find cover and a good position, the way she finished off last start suggests she goes well here.

R6/2- FREE BEER (BEST OF DAY)

• We have only seen FREE BEER once at the races to date, it was a very impressive run above average for that class of race. He has since been spelled and resumes here now. Recent trials have been encouraging and he looks to have the most upside of this field. If he has improved off the debut run he looks too good here.
