Resuming here today, PROVEN CORRECT contested some stronger level races towards the end of her prep last time and those form lines are certainly strong to bring into a mid week maiden here. Speed drawn outside her, so expecting she can find a good position on the leaders backs and she should be able to get the breakthrough win here.

R4/2- CAMPOBASSO (EW/VALUE OF DAY)

A lot of CAMPOBASSO’s chances depend on the conditions of the track. At time of writing the Gawler track was rated a Heavy 9 which would be perfect for him given his super record on a heavy track (18:7-1-5). But there is some sun forecast through Wednesday that may dry that track out a bit. But given CAMPOBASSO has a super record over this track/trip (4:3-0-0), he still looks like he will be worth a small play if the track is rated a Soft.

R7/14- ROULETTE QUEEN

Drops in grade here today after she was solid in a Metro level race 1st up. She has been a winner on a heavy track so looks as if she will be fine in these track conditions. She may get back slightly in the run and be doing her best work late, but on a wet Gawler track, the middle of the straight is usually ideal and Jake Toeroek on board should help her find the right position.
