The most impressive run of his short career was the 2nd place here at Gawler in his last start, chasing home a short priced favourite in similar conditions to what he should find here today. The other favoured runner in this market NOT A SINGLE BID comes out of the same race and will need to make up 3.5L on TONY MONTANA and potentially gets less favours here than he did a fortnight ago.

R4/3- DON’T DISMISS (VALUE OF DAY)

Hasn’t been in the best form this prep, but should get a chance to improve here at Gawler where he has proven to excel. Boasts a strong record over this track/distance (7:3-1-2) and gets a senior jockey in Todd Pannell today after his last few runs where he has partnered with apprentices. It’s a small matter but could be an important change.

R6/1- DEEVINE (BEST OF DAY)

Dropping in grade today after 2 Saturday runs on the Morphettville Parks track. He found some bad luck in both those runs not finding much room in the straight before making ground up which we know can be hard on the parks track. He made a mess of a similar race to this 1st up here at Gawler winning by 7L so does like the track. Has drawn a wide barrier but I’m not too concerned with that as I think it will pay to be off the rail down the straight and that’s where a lot of them won from last meeting a fortnight ago.
