R5/9- PEROVIC

• A well bred runner who broke through for his maiden win here at this track over the same distance last start. Obviously he steps up in grade today, but the manner in which he won in the last start suggests he can go on with it now. He does have a wide barrier to deal with, but with good early speed if he can cross and land in the front, he will be every chance.

R7/8- SECRET WAR (EW/VALUE OF NIGHT)

• The rail is out here tonight and it is generally hard to catch leaders in the 955m races when the rail is out. SECRET WAR is a fast horse and is drawn is barrier 1, it is going to give him a perfect run up on the speed and some of the more favoured runners will need to produce a big effort from behind him.

R8/2- SANS DOUTE

• Ran near here 2 starts ago behind the runner FRILLED who has since been back to this track and won again. SANS DOUTE next went to Seymour and was well supported but she wasn’t really suited by that track, so a forgive run. She gets ideal conditions here tonight so expecting to see her improve from that last start.
