R1/6 - CHANDON BURJ (BEST)

• Maps for a super run out of barrier 2 now. Will push forwards and be on the speed. The last start effort at Flemington was also super. He is fitter for being 3rd up now and has won 3rd up previously. Looks like he should be hard to reel in from the front.

R5/6- JUNGLE SENSATION

• Has been super consistent of late not missing the top 2 in her past few. She pushes forwards last start and just got caught by a smart looking type. Like coming back to the 955m for her. She is consistent here at The Valley and should get a gun run.

R7/9- SON OF EMPEROR (EW/VALUE OF NIGHT)

• Resumes tonight after having had a spell since contesting the SA Derby. Expect he may improve later into the prep as he gets out to a further trip, but he has won twice previously over the 1600m which is where we are today. We have lost a bit of the price due to scratchings, but the EW value is still there. He potentially has more class than this field but how well he has come back is the question.
