R1/2- SHALAMAN

Am big on horses having previous form here at The Valley and SHALAMAN 3:1-2-0 record here at the track and an even better record track/trip. He will land on the speed in the run where it suggests will be a big advantage.

R4/4- TIJUANA (BEST OF NIGHT)

Looks like the rise to the 1600m should really suit. He has placed in 2 sharp races this prep and only 0.3L off Berkeley Square last start and that looks like a strong form line. Draws barrier 2. That gives him options to settle in behind speed and get a strong position.

R5/4- YULONG COMMAND (EW/VALUE OF NIGHT)

A track specialist who made a good mark of this 55 second challenge last season. Did just fall short of winning the final but has a super record here over this track/trip (5:3-1-1). He is drawn super and will push forwards and no doubt take up the lead. The question on him will be how fit he is late. As he will be leading and giving himself every chance. Need to give respect to the fave Asfoora, but I’m liking the extra EW value with Yulong.

R7/2- PAULELE

The pick for the Group 1 Moir. Think he looks exceptionally well placed here. 1st up and fresh, he has won all 3 of the 1st uk runs he has had through his career. Adaptable in wet track conditions so rain should bother him, and he is a winner here at The Valley.

R8/1- KISSONALLFORCHEEKS

Just looks the best horse in this race. It’s a small field now after scratchings which should really suit him as he might be back midfield which isn’t ideal, but should find the space late in this reduced field. Hoping he actually is a bit more positive from barrier 5 and can settle in behind the leaders. If he is there at the top of the straight and finds space, he has the big finish to run over them all.
