R3/7- POWERFUL EAGLE

• Maps perfectly here to find a soft on speed run. Handled the 1600m trip last start but think he will appreciate a drop to the 1500m on the heavy track.

R4/6- LONG TYCOON

• Should get a lot of favours in this maiden, he is drawn well to utilise early speed and take control of this race, but he also run well last start on a heavy track and others in this race are even having their debuts which could be tough.

R6/5- ELITE ICON (BEST)

• Only question tonight is if he can handle the heavy going, but he is an absolute track specialist which is important. He boasts a 3:2-1-0 record here at Moonee Valley and feel he should be too good for this field, just needs to handle the wet track.

R7/7- WISAKA

• Drawn well, has a good record over this trip, but comes right into the race thanks to the heavy track. He has rarely run a bad race on a wet track, gets suitable conditions and draws for a soft run.
