R1/11- BOOGNISH

SA visitor BOOGNISH has been having a super prep which includes 2 good runs at LISTED level and 2x 2nds in her last 2 runs. She is drawn in barrier 4 which looks an ideal position and in particularly with Jamie Kah in the saddle. They map to get a sweet run and over this trip she looks ideally suited.

R2/3- BRAVE MEAD

BRAVE MEAD comes in short now after the scratching of HEURISTIC, but he still looks a good bet due to his strong form here at The Valley previously. He won a listed race here last prep and was 3rd behind STEPARTY when resuming last start. His form behind STEPARTY looks the strongest reference and there is no real concern from barrier 7 in this small field as he will probably land behind the likely leaders COINCIDE & ESECUTORE and track them into the race.

R4/1- UNFLINCHING (BEST OF NIGHT)

UNFLINCHING does his best work in these 955m, 55 second challenge races. His record over this track/trip is an impressive (6:5-1-0). He has had 2 strong trials leading into this resuming run and drawn out of barrier 1, he should be jumping on the bunny and leading them up out in front. He is a speedy customer and will be in this for a long way.

R8/2- SHESALLSHENANIGANS (VALUE OF NIGHT)

SHESALLSHENANIGANS defeated race fave SKIRT THE LAW last start at Flemington. While SKIRT THE LAW was probably a forgivable run going down the straight, I still thought SHESALLSHENANIGANS had the better of them. 3rd up and up to the 1200m now for SHESALLSHENANIGANS looks ideal given she won impressively over this trip last prep. She is drawn in barrier 1 and will be racing up on the speed, we are still getting an EW price for a runner who will likely get a lot of map favours.
