R3/2- WISHLOR LASS

WISHLOR LASS was too impressive last start to look past for a race like this today. She is drawn in barrier 1 so again will get a good run close to the speed. She beat some very handy types last start and meets when looks like an easier field here today. She showed good fight when tested last start, so can produce under pressure which is encouraging.

R5/1- TUVALU

Has been having a super prep despite now wins. He hasn’t been far away from the winners up in stronger grades including a last start 2nd behind ALLIGATOR BLOOD. He maps to control the race up on the speed and if he can do that in the small field, he will be able to dictate. Find a perfect set up here today.

R6/9- POIFECT (EW/VALUE OF DAY)

She has had excuses in her last pair of starts and she looks a type better than what she has been producing. She has had to deal with runs from wide barriers and getting caught out wide. She also pulled up with a slow recovery last time. So forgivable runs in this last couple. She has drawn barrier 1 here so perhaps settles more handy and if she can get it right, she looks good value.

R7/3- VERDAD (BEST OF DAY)

Brings with him into this race, the strong form lines running behind GRIFF in both the Stutt Stakes and The Caulfield Guineas. The Stutt, in particular has proven to be a good form race with 2 runners who finished behind VERDAD, have been subsequent winners. VERDAD has gone around here at The Valley previously as well which can be a big advantage against these other young horses.
