R1/3- CHILLED

• CHILLED was an impressive last start winner when going across to Adelaide and taking care of a handy field. The form has been franked from that race with the 2nd placed runner Stretan Angel winning a listed 2yo race last weekend. This doesn’t look any harder than the race CHILLED won recently and she should be hard to beat.

R4/7- CONVENER (BEST OF DAY)

• Found no luck in the straight when making his debut here in Australia. He was held up at crucial stages before flashing home strongly when finding some space late. He should have won that last race, and now going up to the 2000m looks ideal for him after the way he finished that last race off. This is a much more suitable trip for him now.

R6/2- GRAND PIERRO (EW/VALUE OF DAY)

• He was doing his best work late last start when at big odds. He has had a jump out since that race and goes up to the 1600m which suits. Generally a better performer when he has a few runs under his belt into a prep so he looks well placed now. Craig Williams is booked to ride which is a positive as they have produced a win together before.
