R2/2 - MIDNIGHT CHARM π₯
Resumes here today on his home track and has 2/2 wins when 1st up into his preps. He is advantaged being trained at this track given it can be horses for courses sometimes as well. He looks the likely major speed influence in the race so he will be racing out in front and giving himself every chance out in front.
R5/2- ARAVENE (BEST OF DAY)β
ARAVENE looks to have found an ideal race to pick up a win for herself today. She rises to 2000m for this and the way she has hit the line in both runs this prep suggests itβs a trip she is ready for now. She comes into this race 3rd up, her 3rd up record is impressive (3:2-0-0) and Damian Lane in the saddle is a positive to given the form he has been in of late.
R7/1- REGAL POWER (VALUE OF DAY)π₯
REGAL POWER should find this race easier than the last few he has contested. He backs up out of a Group3 last weekend where he finished midfield in a big group so the finishing position isnβt as bad as it appears on paper. The run prior he was only 2L off SOULCOMBE which may prove to be a very strong form reference. We know he has class given he is a dual Group 1 winner, and even though that is some time ago, he is showing glimpses of his better form and up to the 2400m here today may help him find his best again.
R8/3- MISS GALORE ***SCRATCHED***
MISS GALORE was an impressive winner when resuming at Geelong a fortnight. She looks a smart type who is quite progressive and capable of rising through the grades. She showed this last prep when she ran 3rd at Morphettville in the Listed Nitschke Stakes behind ROYAL MERCHANT who went on from there to win The Goodwood. MISS GALORE draws well in barrier 5 and well in at the weights after a 2kgs claim.
