R2/7- KINETIC JEWEL

This is a handy race with some lightly raced types contesting. Siding with KINETIC JEWEL here who won her maiden last start at Morphettville in a slick time for the average maiden race. You would assume she can improve off that run and if she does, she will be hard to hold out based on that last effort. She is drawn in barrier 4, so expect she will settle no worse than midfield and should get the run at the right time to get past them.

R4/2- SILENT SURRENTE

SILENT SURRENTE drops down in grade today after he has competed at Listed level in her last 3 starts. Back to a BM74 here today, she should find this an easier level and she will step up in distance which suits. She boasts a career win over this track/trip so she looks much better suited here down in grade and at the suitable trip.

R5/4- KARACASU (BEST OF DAY)

Ran a big 2nd behind TAUNTING last start when resuming off of a let up. He closed out that race in impressive fashion with the fastest L800, L600, L400 & 4th fastest L200 of the entire meeting. He is a horse that has always showed huge talent and when he gets it right he is very hard to beat. If he can settle more handy than where he did last start, we know he has the big finish to be able to run over the top. Rising up to the 1100m is also another advantage for him today.

R9/1- MISS MUCINNI (VALUE OF DAY)

Resumes today, her 1st up record is super (5:3-0-1) so expecting her to put in a strong performance here. She rate highly in this field and has a big weight because of that, but that has been slightly offset by a 3kg claiming apprentice. MISS MUCINNI will jump from barrier 3 and should land handy in the run from that low barrier. That puts her in a strong position in running and the track conditions suit.
