ZUFASTA was 2nd when he resumed, beating home rivals that also run here today. In his debut prep, he contested some strong level 2YO races that have strong form lines coming out. COLD CASE should be an improver for having a 2nd up run here today. He has good early speed and should be in a prominent position in running, BRINICLE maps to be the leader in running and may be in the strongest position.

9- FORTIS IN ARMIS

14- SECOND TO NUN

3- IMPERIAL SEAL

Looks a very open maiden level race here. Debutant FORTIS IN ARMIS has been trialling super and has early market support which is encouraging. SECOND TO NUN should be an improver 2nd up. Had to come from a wide barrier and is drawn for a much softer run here today. IMPERIAL SEAL is on debut for a new stable, the trial prior to this was super.

2- SEBONNA (EW/VALUE OF THE DAY)

6- DIXIE WHISTLER

5- OATH OF OMERTA

SEBONNA has been building towards a race like this and looks most suited here now over a 2000m trip and 3rd up. He will be fit, rates highly in this field and will be aided by the apprentice claim. DIXIE WHISTLER drops in grade here, but also comes down in distance which is the small query. OATH OF OMERTA draws for a gun run up on speed from barrier 3. Expect he will be improved now he is 2nd up.

Race 4

2- WICKED ADDICTION

1- EXALTED FIRE

10- DASH IT

WICKED ADDICTION is dropping in grade today, he was slightly disappointing last start, so want to forgive that start and look back to his previous 2 runs where he has form around Yuri Royale who has been in super form himself. WICKED ADDICTION maps to get a soft on run speed. EXALTED FIRE also has similar form lines and is the race fave, he is adaptable in all conditions so should be well suited, the only query on him will be how much he has to do from the wide barrier. DASH IT is a back marker, including him in better chances as there maps to be a fast tempo and he may be perfectly set up to get past them all late.

Race 5

1- MANHATTEN TIMES

3- I AM BENE

8- RUSHAWAY LAD

MANHATTEN TIMES & I AM BENE are clearly the stand out class horses of this. Both have been going around in Group level races. Going with MANHATTEN TIMES due to him having a fitness edge, the main track suits him and he is well suited, just feel I AM BENE will be a little under done here coming into the race off a freshen up. RUSHAWAY LAD is at a super low weight after the apprentice claim, so expect it will give him a good chance to run a strong 1200m

8- STADIUM OF LIGHT

11- TURFITT

4- OUR DEEP AGENDA

STADIUM OF LIGHT was a strong last start winner over the 1400m. He dealt with a wide barrier that day as well. He looks well placed to carry on again here and win this one. TURFITT has been in strong form recently, he has a super record here over this track/distance (4:2-2-0) should be a good chance from an inside barrier and light down at the weights. OUR DEEP AGENDA maps to get the on speed run of the race from barrier 4. He looks like he could run away if he is given it to softly.

Race 7

5- PITRAIN

1- KALAMON

4- SIX FOOT SONG

This is a super tough race, but it definitely looks like the race will be won by one of these 3 horses in the market. PITRAIN was a last start winner in a similar race to this. He will come in light at the weights after the apprentice claim. There is some good pace in the race, so he may end up with a perfect sit to get over them all late. KALAMON had a breakthrough win last start after a string of good runs that ended up in placings. He has been well supported which is good, but hasn’t seemed to ever found his best here at the Morphettville track which is the risk. SIX FOOT SONG rises in trip where he has had previous success which will help but he can his form.

Race 8

10- RICH GINA (BEST OF DAY)

13- THE GOV

7- BLERIOT

RICH GINA did a lot wrong but was still a good winner last start. She looks to have a bit of extra class vs this field. Won 3rd up in last prep and feel that if she is at her best today she should be very hard to beat. THE GOV was a big improver 2nd up. He could improve again given he is drawn an inside barrier and now has a 2kg swing on the fave. BLERIOT was an impressive winner when fresh in his last prep. He runs well fresh and conditions will suit but the only query is the wider barrier.

Race 9

9- SASKATOON

4- PICARGO

14- OUTPOST

SASKATOON was an impressive winner when on debut for the stable. He was spelled straight away after that win. Expecting he can return an improved product having had the break and given more time to develop. PICARGO comes back down in grade after a last start win. He hasn’t missed the top 3 in 5 other starts when 3rd up. OUTPOST has a strong record here on the track. This is a big drop in grade from the race he contested last start finishing 4th.

3- BAMYAN BUDDHA

1- KONG

10- CLASSY KENNY

BAMYAN BUDDHA has a super record here over track/distance and a strong record with Ryan Hurdle in the saddle. He is a tough runner who is well suited here today. KONG is always a big chance having placed in 5 of his last 6 starts. But he does lack a win recently. Always a good show and chances would improve with a wetter track
