OUTSIDER was strongly supported when making her debut for a new stable las t start. Think there were excuses in her run as she did get a bit further back than probably expected. She stays in a similar grade here today, gets a good race map and if she can utilise that she could be an improver.

R7/11- THE MAP (BEST OF DAY)

THE MAP was an impressive winner at Flemington on Melbourne Cup day. Since then the target has appeared to be The Adelaide Cup. She resumed over the 2000m here last start and was very impressive winning when she could have been vulnerable fresh. She will take improvement off that runs and rising in trip suits. Expect she can win here and looks a strong local chance in The Adelaide Cup.

This is an open race but we can get good odds for STRUCK BY who is a Listed winner already over this same track/trip. He maps to go forwards and looks the likely leader of this race. Given the expected conditions should suit him, he should be in this race for a long way and at good value.
