Think the Jolly stable has a hold on this race to kick today off. Like HEAVENS WISH at a better price, she won impressively on debut before looking to have gone amiss when resuming, expect her to roll forwards and look to lead, if she finds her best here she may be a sharp improver. NOBLE MAGNATE was an impressive debut winner, he has to back it up here 2nd up now but does look to have an impressive turn of foot. TEST THE LAW resumes here today, was competitive in a stronger grades last prep and has form around some strong horses.

OH MO chased home the talented Hopon Harry last start, but his form 3 starts back in The Balaklava Cup is super. That race has produced some super form lines and he was 3rd in it, if he produces that he is capable in this field. LAKE’S FOLLY is on the quick back up and has been close in his last 2 runs finishing 2nd behind a pair of smart winners. The 1600m trip will suit him. MAGNETIC EDGE was 1.6L behind the inform Montign last start and has been consistent this prep. He maps nicely out of barrier 2 and should get a soft run.

CROWN MOSHE was scratched from an easier race Wednesday to run in this. The stable have been patient with her and will be keen to get her a breakthrough. She maps to settle behind the leader who will likely be the fave and they will likely be the ones battling it out late. ARTY MISS is the current fave, she ran well on debut but was then disappointing last start at Gawler, she gets the favours on speed from barrier 1 and if she improves on the last start, she looks ready to win. FLY THE LINE placed on debut behind the likes of CROWN MOSHE, she should take improvement from having had the debut run now.

3- OATH OF OMERTA
DESIGNS visits from Victoria. Last time she came across here to Morphettville, she won over this track and distance quite easily. She has a super record over the 2500m trip (3:2-1-0) and can be forgiven for the last start where she looked to not have appreciated the heavy track. SEBONNA was 2nd to The Map over this trip last start. He is a proven stayer and looks the clear danger. He is super fit now deep into this prep and will appreciate a good track. OATH OF OMERTA is another proven stayer who loves going around the Morphettville track. He is lighter at the weights than the other favoured 2 runners and all of his career wins have come on good tracks.

11- WINNING REVOLUTION
2- THE MAGISTRATE

WINNING REVOLUTION makes his debut for a new stable here today. Thought his early form for the P Moody stable was super including a debut run where he was 2nd placed at listed level. He was disappointing when resuming for his 2nd prep, they moved him on and he has trialled well since arriving in SA. THE MAGISTRATE was an impressive winner here last start and beat home runners who have since gone on to run well on the series final day. He has a heavy weight here which is slightly offset by an apprentice claim, but still has a bit to carry. HONGBAO is another who debuts for a new stable. He is only lightly raced but has experienced some stronger level races so far. He is drawn barrier 1 which does give him options to either push forwards and take a sit.

WILD IMAGINATION has been running super in races over the 1200m trip. She is much better suited to a further trip and gets out to the 1600m here today. She is fit and in good form and from barrier 1, she should get a soft run and land in a strong position. Expecting she will be finishing this race off strongly. RESIDUE is a recent winner at this track/trip. He is on the quick back up and down in grade after a run against sharper competition last week. Looks much more suited at the 1600m today. MOTELL is undefeated at this track/trip in his 2 other runs over it. He should find this and easier grade than any of his most recent efforts.

8- WHO’S CLANG
1- DESTINYS REPUBLIC
LAST GIRL LOVE debuts for a new stable today. Last time we saw her she was competitive at listed level vs the impressive runner Illation. Her old stable thought enough of her to put her in some sharp level races. Expect she has the talent and should be capable of a win at this level. WHO’S CLANG won his debut race in good fashion and looks a nice type. The query for him here today is that he has drawn the wide barrier. He did show the early speed on debut that suggests he may be able to get across, but is still a small risk of having to do extra work. DESTINY’S REPUBLIC rates well for this grade and has recent run well at this level, but is another runner who has a sticky barrier and heavy weight. If he can manage both of those he will be a big chance.

The feature race of todays program at Listed level. It’s a super open race with a lot of strong runners here. Think a lot is going to come down to how the race maps. Due to that, feel MANHATTEN TIMES might be set up perfectly here. He was finishing off super in his last start and with multiple runners who may chase the lead early, the tempo in the race may be fast which puts him in a perfect position to grab them late. KEEP READING was an impressive winner of The Gytrash series final last start. He beat a similar field to this and a repeat effort of that run should be good enough here. CALLA DREAM is in a super vein of form. She has placed in her last 7 runs and 4 of those were wins. She won a series final last start carrying a huge weight and will drop a massive 7.5kgs for this today. She has huge potential and would surprise in this.

Very open race to close out todays program. Playing SILVER ON RED as the value play of the day. He is a proven 1st up performer and was super during his last prep. He is a winner a grade above this beating home the likes of Karacasu and Extremely Lucky who went on to compete at Group 1 level. If he handles the big weight he will be a big chance in this grade. LADY SIMONE was a winner 2 weeks back and then placing next start in a sharp level race. Her recent form is super and she is lighter at the weights than some of the fancied runners which gives her a nice advantage. DAMASCUS MOMENT resumes here today, he usually takes a few runs into a prep to find his best, but he performed super in a recent trial which suggests he may be ready to go fresh.
