R7/9- DUNMAGHLAS (EW/VALUE OF DAY)

Giving Dunmaghlas a chance in this as a value play. He looked to have had an issue when resuming last prep finishing a long way down the track. His form in the prep prior to that was good against horses such as PRESS DOWN. He has a lot in his favour here being drawn close to the rails and his 2 trials leading into this were good enough to suggest that if he is well and can find that previous form, he can run well resuming but is one to follow out of this race as well

R9/10- AITCH TWO OH (BEST OF DAY)

Resuming today and she has won twice previously when 1st up into a prep and also ran 2nd at Listed level when 1st up last prep. She has won at Group 3 level at Flemington and looks the class runner of the field. She is well set up here with good early speed and an inside barrier. She maps to get run of the race and with the states leading jockey Jake Toeroek on board, you would expect that she will get every chance if good enough
