R1/6- GIVE SOME LIP

Comes back down to maiden level after he has competed well finishing 2nd in 2x 3YO Benchmark races. There has been good form come out of those BM races and with the step down in grade he looks well placed. Might need luck from the wide barrier, but if he finds the luck he looks to,have the extra class.

R6/8- MISS KERMIE

Ran on well when resuming over a 1200m trip to finish 3rd. She goes up to the 1400m here today which suits her. One of the heys for her here today is the race map. There isn’t many other runners with early speed,and not much drawn below here. She should get every chance to lead them up here and take control of the race.

R7/1- GRAND PIERRO

This rates as the easiest race he has competed in for a while now. This time last year, he won the Listed Geelong Classic before competing in the Group 1 Derby. He has had 2 runs now this prep so looks to be peaking in fitness and up in trip to the 1950m suits.
