KLABEL looks to have all the potential to be a really good horse. He won his debut nicely before spelling straight away and has looked good in trials leading up to this return. KIKI EXPRESS was 2nd behind a nice horse when resuming, she came up against some strong company during the last prep and potentially has the extra class here. ROCKSTAR MEGGSY was a winner 2 starts back, she should be suited here on the main track.

This is another one of the 2500m staying races that have all been quite competitive of late. DIXIE WHISTLER should get her chance today. She is slightly fresher than a couple others in this and is proven at the trip. She is the likely leader and may get a soft run. SMILING ASSASSIN is fit and tough, he backs up after a Jericho heat that was run upside down so he should at least take improvement from that run in a race that will be more suitable. EXALTED RUTH will appreciate rising up to this trip now after coming back down in trip over her last few.

This is a very open and competitive maiden race. PORTATION looks well over due for a 1st win. He hasn’t missed the placings in 4 career starts but was a disappointing 3rd at a short price last start. He gets in nice at the weights and should appreciate the bigger track. PONTEDERA is a resuming runner, he is another who should appreciate the wider, open Morphettville track. ZUFASTA has placed in his last 2 starts. He is drawn for a nice run at a light weight.

1- POINT BLAZE

5- LADY SIMONE

WILD IMAGINATION hit the front in the starlight last start before being pipped on the line. She looks like she will get all the favours here today, has the inform claiming apprentice, drawn an inside barrier to utilise early speed and should be fitter for being 2nd up. POINT BLAZE drops back in grade after a 2nd placing last start. She has a strong record here and has had early market support which is generally encouraging from this stable. LADY SIMONE will be an improver 2nd up now she is fitter and maps for a good on speed run which should give her favours as well.

4- MANAGE THE CYCLE

2- GRAND HOST

DISCO TILMORN gets in super light at the weights here after the apprentice claim. She can be forgiven for the last start where she was found to be lame and should be every chance here. MANAGE THE CYCLE is dropping in grade but does come out of provincial level racing. Barrier 1 probably doesn’t favour him, but he has looked close to a win in his last handful of races. GRAND HOST comes into this off the back of a recent win, he can mix his form but at his best he will be more than competitive at decent EW odds.

RIOTOUS MISCHIEF was only 1.2L behind the winner at Caulfield last start. He is a multiple winner at this trip and has a smart record 3:2-0-0 when he is 3rd up. If he finds space in the straight he may prove hard to hold out. PUDDING was an impressive winner when resuming last start and looks like he may continue to improve, only have a doubt on him here today as he will have work to do from the wider barrier and previously he has been flat once 2nd up into a prep. ANNIKA takes a slight drop in grade here today and represents some good EW value. She is 4th up and fitter which should help and comes in light at weights.

This is a very strong level race and should prove competitive. Expecting PHILONIZE should be very hard to catch here, while she has drawn a wider barrier, she has super early speed which should see her find a strong position and After the apprentice claim she will carry only 52Kgs. There was some big wraps on her 12 months ago but she didn’t get up last prep, if she finds that strong form again she will go well. KEEP READING has been consistently around the mark in these level races of late. After an apprentice claim he comes in light at the weights. He should get a super run in this and will be strong late, looks every chance today. LEGLASS LADY was 2nd in a good field when resuming last start. She may be an improver 2nd up and in suitable conditions as well.

2- KNIGHTSTOWN

KNIGHTSTOWN drops sharply in grade for this today. He was a winner in a similar race to this 2 starts back and has form around good level horses this prep. Early market support for him is encouraging. JET JITSU has won 2/3 starts this prep. He has a booming finish and a consistent record over this distance. If he can find clear running space in the straight, he should be every chance to run over the top. FALLOW has has a consistent prep having placed in his last 4 starts including 1 win. The last start 2nd he was 1/2L of an inform runner. A repeat of that should see him be competitive here.

Race 9

11- THE MAP

1- SIGN OF USSURI

7- MORTY

The feature race of today and the only listed level race here today. THE MAP has very good potential and she deserved a breakthrough win last start when rising in trip. She will rise in grade sharply, but will also be well suited here today which should give her every chance. SIGN OF USSURI has won multiple country level cups and will be competitive against this field. He has a consistent record here at this track. MORTY has an impressive 3:2-0-0 record over this track/distance and has been a previous winner when 3rd up. He represents good EW value.

Race 10

4- COOL MAGNUM (EW/VALUE OF THE DAY)

3- CHOSEN BLONDE

11- RODEO

COOL MAGNUM should just about get the run of the race on speed and from barrier 4. Forgiving the last start run as he was drawn wide and had to endure a tough run. Much more well drawn here to get a better run today. CHOSEN BLONDE has found super form since resuming this prep and winning 2 in a row now. She lacks a win here on this track but is in super form. RODEO has resumed this prep with back to back 3rds and this race looks easier than the previous ones. Only issue she will have here is where she will land from the wider barrier 11.
