No huge spoil at the price, but SGHRIPPIA is a good horse who won well when resuming fighting off the well supported PRESS DOWN. He did win 1st up but still did a little but wrong through the run. He generally does improve 2nd up with a 2nd up record of (3:2-0-1). Drawn in barrier 5 and maps to be in a prominent position again. The quinella-exacta bet with BRISTLER looks a good one for excotics as well

R9/10- PARTY PRINCESS

The feature race of today’s meeting is The John Letts Cup over the 1800m. PARTY PRINCESS is a talented mare who has been competing at a strong level over in Victoria and comes back here to SA in what looks an easier rating race for her. In her last 2 she has been 4th behind AMELIA’S JEWEL & 6th behind WISHLOR LASS. Both of those form lines are very strong. She is a listed level winner here at the track and gets her chance today to breakthrough thanks to a good map and a weight advantage on the boys.

R10/4- KENTUCKY CASANOVA

Victorian visitor who resumes here in SA off the back of some very good trials at home. His 1st up record is super having won 2 of 3 1st up runs and also won a BM82 here at Morphettville last prep. He has a wide barrier to contend with which is the risk, but the race looks to lack many runners with early speed so if he can jump away clean, he should be able to cross and land in a handy position.
