R4/4 - THE MAP (BEST OF DAY)

Went over to Flemington last weekend to take a big step up in competition where she found them a bit too sharp, but comes way back down in level for this. Her previous form has been super and the step up to the 2500m looks like something that will really suit her.

R5/10 - THE GOV (EW/VALUE OF DAY)

She was good when 2nd last start almost running down the winner. I think she gets more advantages here today which could see her go one better, she gets up to 1100m which is more ideal, soft ground suits and the fact she has a 1.5kg claim off her back is going to give her a nice weight swing on rivals and should help her late.

R8/3 - MONTIGN

Comes into this after having won The Gawler Cup last start. His form this prep has been super and this looks like it should be an easier race. The 1600m will suit him and he looks well placed. Since the rains have come from Saturday, it has put the track conditions to a soft now which suits him more now too.
