R1/9- HARLEEN

• HARLEEN makes her debut for a new stable here today. She contested stronger level races through her last prep at Metro grade in Adelaide. She looks well placed here at this easier level and maps well from barrier 4 to be racing up on the speed and in a good position over the 900m.

R4/2- IRLANDAIS

• The McEvoy’s bring a runner across the border to debut who has been trialling well in the lead up to this run but has taken his time to get to the races.. He has drawn a good barrier so should land in a good position in running and this maiden doesn’t look overly strong.

R8/9- ORNAMENTAL LADY (BEST OF DAY)

• This is an open race, but the recent form of ORNAMENTAL LADY stands out in this field. She drops well down in grade from competing in metro level races at Morphettville in her last few starts and her last run in particular was a solid effort to run 4th. She gets suitable conditions on a soft track today. Barrier 9 isn’t the worst either considering this race lacks some speed so expect her to find a good position close to the leader.
