R4/3- PHOENIX FIREBALL

• A well bred 1st starter from a smart stable who have Taken their time with him to get him race ready. He has trialled on wet tracks so todays track conditions shouldn’t be a concern. Major threat is the 2 who hasn’t won a race in 32 starts.

R5/8- LAST DREAM (VALUE OF DAY)

• This isn’t a super strong race, but always have to respect the Walter stable when there are here on their home track and this is definitely where LAST DREAM does her best work. She has a 3:1-2-0 record here at the track, and she has looked in good touch recently. Forgiving the last start run that she got caught wide, improves here.

R6/3- ZIGGI ROCKS

• This is a lot easier grade for ZIGGI ROCKS than what he has been competing in of late. His last 4 starts have been in SA metro level grade, he did manage to win one of those as well. 2 starts back he was 5th at Murray Bridge, only 1.3L behind in form Yuri Royale and beat home talented runners such as Big Sue. A run anywhere up to that should be too good here.

R8/2- ROYAL CROWN (BEST)

• The Heats of the Jericho are big staying tests and based on recent form, ROYAL CROWN should prove hard to beat. He looks a type who will handle the trip but he has been competing in much stronger competition that his rivals. 2 starts back he was 2nd at Caulfield in the VOBIS Gold Stayers race. He has since placed again at metro level. Soft track conditions are ideal, feel he will have the extra class.
