Mount Gambier & Bendigo, Sunday 19/6
Conditions - Soft (M) & Heavy (B)
Sunday Best Bets
Mt Gambier
R4/6- LOOSE LIP LLOYD
Has a record of (5:3-0-0) here at his home track which can play as a horses for courses. The run last week was disappointing, but he had some bad luck early and was caught too wide with no cover the trip. Expect it to be different here, he draws a much better barrier so may lead them and back at the light end of the weight should help.
R6/2- YARRA BOYS
He should find this easier than the 1st up run and should be fitter for that now. Doesn’t win out of turn, but the races he has historically contested are tougher than this. He gets his chance today.

R4/1- WROTE TO ARATAKI (BEST)
Only a lightly raced runner, but she has looked progressive across her 4 career starts. Thought the 1st up win was super and now she rises in distance which should only suit her. Proven on a heavy, think she will be hard to hold out late.
R7/4- THE SUPERINTENDENT
Resuming today, last prep he ran well against a few decent horses and there’s potential this field is easier than those races last prep. Have only seen him once in a heavy where he placed 3rd so not concerned about the conditions or the wide barrier, think by this stage of the day runners will want to be wider away from the rail.
R9/12- ENDLESSLY
Finally broke through for her maiden win at Mornington when resuming. She won that race easily and steps up in grade now. Should get a lot of favours to find the on speed run from her inside barrier and will take some catching.
