2nd career start today and you think he will be able to take some definable improvement out of that first run. He slipped at the jump on debut and found himself near last which wasn’t the plan of the rider. He has been strong late and hit the line nicely showing good signs. Expect him to be more prominent today and this race doesn’t have too much depth and looks winnable.

R7/4- MARACOURT (BEST OF DAY)

A class horse who comes into this race fresh and he usually performs best off of a break in work. While he will likely improve going further out in trip deeper into his prep he has won fresh over a 1200m trip and looks to have a bit of extra class in this race. There should be a hot tempo in this race and that should set him up to produce a big finish late.

R8/9- CONNEMARA QUEEN

She has found good form recently in her last 2 runs she has had a win and run 2nd in a similar grade race. She was pretty strong late last start in a race that had a messy race map. She should go well over this 1400m trip and will get space from barrier 13 which may help her find the middle of the track which usually plays as the better part of the track late in the day when it is soft.
