• The stable have had a really strong recent record with 2yo debutants with 2 winning trials prior to winning on debut. HEAVENS WISH won a trial the same day and showed good early speed. If she jumps clean she may lead and be in an ideal position to figure on debut.

R5/4- MISS MUCINNI (BEST OF THE DAY)

• Resumes here today and has done all of her best work so far in her career when 1st up. Her record 1st up in an impressive 3:2-0-1. She is a winner over this track and distance and draws an inside barrier so expect her to be forward enough to be every chance.

R6/9- THE WEIGHT (EW/VALUE OF DAY)

• She finally broke through for a maiden victory in her last start and will hopefully be able to now build on that performance. Prior to the win, she was rarely far away and has been solid. If she can improve from the last star win up in grade now, she should be around the mark at a good EW price.

• 2nd up career run here today, the debut run at Murray Bridge was a close finishing 2nd but still a good run. The winner of that race has come out since and placed at Flemington in a 2yo race. JOYRIDER gets some extra distance here to work with and should be fitter and improved for having had the debut run.

R4/4- PARLAYED

• Pulled up lame after her last start when she jumped at a $1.65 fave so can be forgiven for that run. Prior to that she won on a heavy surface, so expecting she will handle the expected conditions here today. Her career SP profile suggest she is talented.

R7/2- COOLTH (BEST OF DAY)

• Continues to be around the mark in races this prep but hasnt managed to breakthrough for a win yet. Looks due now and think after he dropped in grade last start to finish 3rd, the rise in distance here is what will give him the extra boost he may need. He has performed well in stronger races this prep so his best is good enough.
