R1/9- SURPRISE COMING

A lightly raced gelding who resumes here today from a good break. His 2 career runs he has run 4th but they were in much stronger races than this mid-week maiden today. He competed strongly in a couple 2YO Handicap races earlier in the year including the 2YO Magic Millions race here at Murray Bridge. This is a drop in level of race for him now. There will be good pace on early and he will likely get back in the field. He is well suited to this bigger track and should be able to get a good run off the hot tempo.

R6/1- BUBBLE OVER (BEST OF DAY)

A very consistent mare who finds herself in a very winnable Class2 level race today. She meets a much easier field than she has seen in her past few including contesting BM78s & BM82s in town and 2 starts back contested the SA Sprint Series Final. She finds herself 2nd up here today off a 7 week let up, and generally runs well when she is fresher into a prep Has also never missed the placings from 4 previous 1200m runs through her career.

R8/1- CONEGLIANO (EW/VALUE OF DAY)

CONEGLIANO was a winner over this exact same track/distance 2 starts ago in a very similar grade race. Last start he went up in grade and competed well in a metro BM62. While he was 9th placed, he was only 3.5L behind the winners in a packed field. Getting a good EW price for a runner who has been running well here at this track and should get a good run from barrier 3 with Todd Pannell.
