R4/7- DEEPFLOAT DIVA

A runner on debut for the Richard & Chantelle Jolly stable who have a super winning record for runners with runners on debut. DEEPFLOAT DIVA trialled very impressively recently at Gawler which suggests he arrives here at his debut run in good order. The low barrier draw also a bonus as it should see him get a nice run.

R6/7- ON THE SCENT

Resuming today after he had 2 runs in his debut prep. He was well supported in a stronger 2YO race in his last start, running 2nd that day on a heavy track. He gets on top of the ground here on a dry track today and looks likely to be in a good position in running going forwards from barrier 1.

R7/2- BELLALIQUE (BEST OF DAY)

The market has really come for BELLALIQUE now since she opened up at $2.80 Tuesday. She is only lightly raced for a 5YO mare but has run good figures in majority of her career runs to date. She was well supported last start at Balaklava jumping as a short price fave, but did a bit wrong in the run which has potentially cost her. She looks the class of this field and again should get a gun run and be every chance from a low barrier.

R8/3- COMMANDER MEERO (EW OF DAY)

COMMANDER MEERO has placed in his last 2 runs, both here at this track. The run prior to that, he ran 4th over this exact track/trip in a much harder rating race than this one today. He is in good form and from barrier 4, should again settle in a reasonable position and if he hits the line like he has in his last few, expect he at least gets into the placings.
