The key to this is going to be a horse who is proven at this trip. SMILING ASSASSIN has been going well late over this track/distance (6:1-1-2) and his recent runs have been in a tougher grade. This is a big drop in class, and he has been in good form (can forgive the run 2 back where he pulled up lame). Only question mark is if he can handle the heavy weight, but if they go at a slow tempo, expect he will handle it.

R8/7 - MAGIC PHANTOM **SCRATCHED**

Finished off strongly last start despite the fact he was caught wide through the trip. He has a strong finish and with a light weight and the bigger track, expecting him to be finishing off strongly here, with clear space he will be hard to hold out.
