2nd career run today after he ran 3rd on debut. It was an impressive debut performance given he had bad luck early in the run and found himself back last. Coming down the straight he has weaved through the field to hit the line strongly. He should take improvement out of that run and this isn’t an overly maiden strong.

R5/7- WANALOAN (BEST OF THE DAY) ❌

Looks close to a win having run 3rd in 3 of her last 4 runs including a last start 3rd here over this track & trip. She was hitting the line well last time out, which suggests she should go close again in a very similar level race here today. Not to concerned about the wider barrier here given the rail position, and the fact the track will likely favour runners coming down the middle of the track in the home straight.

R8/2- ALLUSION ✅

Looked good when winning last time out at Gawler from a wide position and running away to win easily in the end. On paper this doesn’t look an any stronger race than the one she won last time and she is drawn to get a super run from barrier 5. She looks in career best from this prep given the last start win and the form around her in stronger races she was contesting earlier in the prep. She will go close holding that sort of form.
