• Maps to get a soft run up on the speed from his barrier. He has 4 wins here at the track and is a first up winner. Should be able to land in a nice spot and take some catching.

R4/3- FLOW METER

• With the veteran stayer FLOW METER today. Think he has been in good form of late and the last start 3rd was in a tougher race than what he finds here today. He has a strong record here at the track (4:3-0-1) Which gives you confidence he should go well.

R5/5- PICAROON (BEST)

• Don’t think we have seen the best of PICAROON this prep, but she gets a few favours here that may help her. Don’t think she appreciated the heavy track in her last start at Penola so can forgive that and she is rising to a more suitable distance here today. The form she was in late last year, If she can find that today she will be too slick for these.
