A locally trained runner who has looked close to a win in his last couple and finds a very winnable race here. He likes to race up on the speed which should put him in a prominent position in running again.

R6/3- RICHED (EW/VALUE OF DAY)

Come into this race 2nd up here today and should take some fitness out of having had that 1st up run. He was 4L off the winner last start but did look to be working well through the line so the scope to improve is definitely there. Campbell Rawiller takes the ride and they have paired up 4 times previously and never missed the Top2.

R7/1- SHINY ROCK (BEST OF DAY)

We aren’t getting a lot in the way of price but he should prove hard to beat and it’s hard to ignore his recent form and particularly his form here on this track. He has had 3 starts here now and has won those all easily by 1.8L, 4L & 5.5L. He beat majority of these runners 2 starts back as well. The question mark over him is if he will see out this trip, but the fashion in which he has been winning suggest he has the tank to do so.
